Animals were immunized with the major protein peak (G-200 fractionation) of delipidated human high density lipoprotein (HDL).
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells.
The antibody binds to an epitope in amino acids 126 through 191 on human ApoE.

Complete Growth Medium Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g/L glucose, 0.1 mM non-essential amino acids and 1 mM sodium pyruvate, 85%; horse serum, 10%; fetal bovine serum, 5%
Subculturing Cultures can be established by addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 x 105 viable cells/mL. Maintain cell density between 105 and 106 viable cells/mL.
